Introduction to the Project Powerpoint presentation about project

All relevant information is also contained in the powerpoint linked to the right.

Deliverable 2: Software Modeling Design Proposal #2 Template D2

As part of your project you will use bridgebuilder software (link is below) to improve on your original design proposal.

b. Use the bridgebuilder software to improve on your original design. You must use the software for this part.

i. Create a design using the software.
ii. Copy the image and paste it into the Modeling Template D2.
iii. Discuss your results briefly.

c. Submit one proposal per group on the due date (see calendar).

Testing   On the last day of class we will test the bridges. To receive full credit, all team members must be present and your bridge must be ready for testing.
Modeling Software

Modeling Software (old version)

Modeling Software (new version) Use this.

Details on how to use the software will be given in class, on the software website, and in the project powerpoint presentation (see above). Note that the OLD software is Java based and causes trouble running in certain browsers. Make sure to try out the software as soon as possible. Try using Internet Explorer on our school student computers (that combination seems to work well).

The NEW version works much better. I recommend you try this. I am leaving the old version linked because it has better explanations for how to operate the software. The explanations work (roughly) for the new software as well.
